Programmes
Four ways to study with us: the morning Special School, the Special Support Centre, private online tutoring and exam preparation.
Vision & mission
Our mission in the Special Support Centre is academic progress without fear: small groups, teachers trained in learning difficulties, and preparation that gets students into the exam room confident.
Mission of the Special Support Centre
The Special Support Centre works with students who attend a mainstream school and need the material taught again, differently, and at their own pace — from primary homework to Pancyprian, IGCSE, A-Level, IELTS, TOEFL and SAT preparation.
Lessons run in the afternoon in small groups or one to one, in person in Nicosia or live online. Progress is reported each term, and every teacher is trained to spot when a difficulty is not about effort.
Our mission
Teach every child a way in
To give each learner an individual route into reading, numeracy, communication and independence, whatever their diagnosis.
Keep families informed
To report progress honestly and often, and to send parents home with strategies they can actually use.
Raise academic outcomes
To take students from struggling to sitting an exam with confidence, in Cypriot and international systems alike.
Our vision
We want a Cyprus in which no family is told that their child is simply not academic. Difficulty with school is information, not a verdict — it tells us which method has not been tried yet.
New Hope aims to be the place where that work happens: a school small enough to know every child by name, and organised enough to prove that the plan is working.
Exam preparation
Cypriot and international exams prepared the same way: the syllabus broken into small pieces, past papers, and timed practice until the paper stops being frightening.
English language exams
IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge exams: all four skills, model answers and full timed mocks.
GCSE, IGCSE and A-Levels
Subject-by-subject preparation against the published assessment objectives, with marked past papers.
SAT and university entrance
Maths and verbal sections, pacing strategy and application-timeline planning.
Pancyprian exams
Cypriot lykeio subjects and entrance tests, following the official syllabus and exam format.
University-level subjects
Support with degree modules and assignments, subject to enquiry and tutor availability.
Access arrangements
Practice under the accommodations a student is entitled to — extra time, reader, or a separate quiet room.
